A government-commissioned review into modern employment practices will be published shortly. Comments already made by review chair Matthew Taylor suggest findings that the rights of certain workers are being hindered through malpractice. The new Government is committed to tackling workplace disparities and increasing the national living wage. New regulations for employers when considering contractual changes are planned and it has been suggested that recent regulations requiring gender pay gap reporting will be extended to cover discrepancies between different ethnic groups.
